Our Story

Hi! We’re Justin Downs and Courtney Abud, co-founders of Sugars Bridge Woodworks.

For over 30 years, Justin has been using his knowledge of woodworking, carpentry, design, and computer programming to create, building houses, crafting furniture, and making other unique items. Meanwhile, Courtney has spent close to 18 years in the advertising and marketing industry as a copywriter and creative director who dabbles in design.

Now, we harness these skills to deliver expert fabrication, home remodeling, custom furniture, and a fine selection of handmade goods. Based in Chester County, Pennsylvania, our shop consists of handmade hardwood items, unique furniture, and CNC-machined, laser-engraved, and 3D-printed goods.
